Days 40 & 41-July 8 & 9

Arrived in Spirit Lake, Idaho to visit my brother and his family after a nice ride over the mountains from Montana.  This area of northern Idaho is pretty with its forests, lakes and streams.  The weather is a plus too, at least in the summer time.  We had a very nice dinner at a marina on the Pend Orielle (pronounced Ponduray) river on Saturday.  George took us on a little tour of the area before returning home.  A challenging game of rummy ensued.  Many bouts of laughter had a tendency to slow down the game.  Actually at about 11:00 P.M. George was beating us so handily that we all decided we would go to 1000 pts. At 1:30 after many ups and downs he finally reached the mark and we joyously headed for bed.
