Days 22 & 23-June 20 & 21
The highlight of our stopover in Casper was Shirley’s homemade biscuits. She makes them just like Jess’s mother used to and there are none better. We had a nice visit with Shirley and her grandson, Michael. Casper is a city that has found a perfect balance between remembering its history while embracing the modern conveniences of today. Shirley and Michael took us to one of their favorite restaurants for a delicious meal on Tuesday evening. After another breakfast of biscuits and gravy we said our good byes and headed west with our sights set on the next stop on our trip. The Grand Teton National Park
